Sacred Language of Ascension CD
The poet within us asks, Declare, O Muse, from what inspiring power have the masters of music spoke? According to J.J. Hurtak, musicologist, scholar, cantor, and author of the Keys of Enoch®, the gift of the soul-penetrating music flows from the sacred names of God in the ancient Sanskrit, Hebrew , and other language texts. A deep appreciation of both Eastern and Western sacred music served as the basis of a spiritual friendship with the renowned Alice Coltrane aka Swamini that led to their collaboration on this new album called, Sacred Language of Ascension.
In their CD are striking sound combinations and soul-stirring rhymes that appeal, according to Hurtak, to the world soul of the planet waking up to themes of unity in God by people of faith who overcome conflict and division through music. A special type of language using sacred linguistic expressions is used to activate the inner call to the Divine and a call to human brotherhood and sisterhood. Here sacred sounds are used that are built into the universal language structure of the phonemes and morphemes.
Dr. Hurtak, Ph.D., Ph.D., was a member of the original music faculty at California Institute of the Arts in the early 1970s and went on to become founder and president of The Academy For Future Science, an organization that is a UN- NGO (non-government organization) that helps highlight the cultural and environmental needs of distant and diverse cultures in South America, Asia and Africa. He, along with his wife Desiree, is also a producer of graphic films on science and spirituality that have won eight international gold and silver medals. These films, Merkabah (1998), Initiation (2001), and Light Body (2004), combine unusual techniques of computer graphics and music.
