 “The Translinear Light Concert"
at the Hill Auditorium, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor)
Alice Coltrane Quartet featured: Ravi Coltrane, tenor and soprano saxophones; Charlie Haden, bass; Roy Haynes, drums; and Alice Coltrane piano, organ and synthesizer. There was a special segment in the program honoring the 80th birthday anniversary of John Coltrane.  Read reviews on this concert

“The Translinear Light Concert”
at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC)
Alice Coltrane Quartet featured: Ravi Coltrane, tenor and soprano saxophones; Charlie Haden, bass; Reggie Workman, bass; Jack DeJohnette, drums; and Alice Coltrane, piano, organ and synthesizer. Essence Magazine Editorial Director, Susan Taylor was the MC of the concert. There was a portion of the program for remembrance of John Coltrane on his 80th birthday year. Also, Mrs. Coltrane premiered two of the songs from her upcoming CD "Sacred Language of Ascension,” one entitled Mata, Mata and the other Universe with orchestra and choir.
